Call centre job description
Call Centre Officers, Operators or Representatives receive a high-volume of inbound calls or drive outbound calls in relation to customer services (placing orders, product inquiries, quotes, return, and problem solving, claims and more).
The Call Centre Operator will be mainly responsible for:
- Manage large amounts of inbound and outbound calls
- Identify customers’ needs, clarify information, research every issue and provide solutions and/or alternatives
- Follow communication scripts
- Seize opportunities to upsell products when they arise
- Build sustainable relationships and engage customers by taking the extra mile
- Meet personal/team qualitative and quantitative targets
- Ensure all administrative and compliance requirements are met (record conversations, data entry and more)
- Share best practice thoughts, ideas and feedback with others and work together to meet all challenges in delivering a great customer experience.

The role demands professionalism, organisation, and a commercial attitude towards all levels of customers and staff:
- Experience in a high paced environment and strong organisational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite and computer skills from different platforms and systems
- Experience in CRM systems and practices
- Great English language proficiency (spoken and written)
