Director Planning,Waste and Regulatory Services

An exciting opportunity is available for an executive professional with drive, vision and leadership skills, to take responsibility for the Planning, Waste & Regulatory Services Department.
Reporting to the General Manager, the Director is a member of the executive team and provide leadership, people management and professional expertise to support the council's vision and operational needs.
A collaborative and engaging relationship approach across all levels internally and externally is critical to the success of this role. With relevant qualifications and a significant work history in the planning, waste and environment space, you need to demonstrate:
- A significant record of achievement in successfully managing the delivery of multi-disciplined planning programs in complex organisations, where innovation and change management has been a key driver.
- Proven experience and ability to lead a multi-disciplinary team working within a complex, stakeholder-driven organisation.
- Proactive attitude with a strong desire to embrace challenges and the motivation to implement change. This will be supported by your excellent relationship skills and proven abilities in high level consultation, networking, negotiation and influencing.
