Department of Health a Human Service are currently recruiting roles within the Community Service Operations Division in order to expand the division and increase resources.

This CSOD focuses on children and families and housing and disability services directly for Victorians, and is responsible for implementing operation policy and funding frameworks. The division also manages critical incidents and assures child safety in a range of government and non government services.

These positions are all to start immediately until the end of the year with a possibility of being extended. The role will be at a VPS 5/6 level depending on experience.

Role 1. Senior Project Officer - The primary purpose of the Senior Project Officer role is to assist with the supporting a range of Child Protection Initiatives. This role will undertake research , analysis and implementation of projects based on defined outcomes and outputs. You will manage projects and be accountable for delivery and completion.

Role 2. Senior Adviser - The Senior Adviser will support a range of multi-disciplinary projects relating to service design and innovation, support transformation and change processes across the branch. You will work with key stakeholders to provide expert advice and reasoned recommendations and innovate program options on complex and sensitive issues. Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of key issues impacting the management and delivery of public services would be expected.

Role 3.

The Senior Project Officer will lead cross-functional projects undertaken by the practice and support branch. This position provides both a proactive and responsive approach to improve client outcomes, provide service delivery staff with the advice and support to deliver quality services and recognises client need and complexity. You will be an an experienced project manager and able to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders. You must also be able to translate complex practice policy, advice, legislation and frameworks into guidelines to support staff.
