Upskill for a digital job
Enhance your skills and reimagine your career with the Victorian Government's Digital Jobs program.
It’s a free six-month program offering 12 weeks of training followed by 12 weeks of paid work in a digital role with a Victorian business.
There are multiple recruitment rounds, with approximately 500 places each quarter. Over the next three years, we aim to support up to 5,000 Victorians to complete the program.
Applicants are selected through a competitive recruitment process facilitated through Hudson Australia.
We welcome applications from Victorians aged over 30 years, from any background or industry, living anywhere in Victoria. We also encourage women looking to return to the workplace and anyone whose job may have been impacted by COVID-19 to apply.

Digital literacy today is the equivalent of English literacy 30 years ago. As a career coach with 30 years’ experience, I can tell you that digital skills are what will future-proof your career.
As a teacher, I never thought of myself as someone who had digital skills, however, I came to realise that there are a lot of transferable skills as a teacher to a developer, which have been really useful… I feel like the career path for me as a developer is pretty much endless.
