Hudson Australia to join credentialing revolution under Memorandum of Understanding with DeakinDigital
27 January 2016 – Global talent solutions company, Hudson, and DeakinDigital, today announced a landmark new partnership that will better serve customers nationwide, through a range of collaborative, new candidate assessment tools.
The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) announcement follows a period of ongoing collaboration between Hudson and DeakinDigital, to design and implement innovative new assessments for use both as part of DeakinDigital’s credentialing process for key employability skills, as well as more broadly with Hudson’s clients.
These new assessments will put both organisations at the very forefront of determining individual capability in areas that are key to business success, providing a combined solution for which employers have already indicated a significant demand.
Mark Steyn, CEO of Hudson APAC, said the partnership with DeakinDigital would open the door to a range of joint marketing opportunities, new candidate assessment tools and expanded offerings for Hudson clients.
“We at Hudson see considerable value in working with a validation model that supports implementation of our services. The partnership with DeakinDigital will give Hudson’s clients access to a range of assessments focused on career fit, preferences and leadership style that can lead to greater employability and career mobility,” Mr Steyn said.
DeakinDigital CEO, Allyn Radford, said: “DeakinDigital sees great value in working with a global leader in talent solutions and with a model that complements the DeakinDigital Credentialing program.
He added that the MoU would enable Hudson to embed DeakinDigital Credentialing services into their client offering.
“DeakinDigital Credentials are being positioned as the new currency for capability and career management. By partnering with DeakinDigital, Hudson and their clients can use DeakinDigital Credentials as a levelled framework for professional development and recruitment,” Mr Radford said. “The ability to use independently validated credentials to recruit and manage talent provides a unique opportunity for employers to accomplish organisational development in a way that is data-driven, and become more competitive as a result.”
The MoU is the second major announcement for DeakinDigital within the last month. In November, Cisco Systems and DeakinDigital unveiled a landmark pilot program to introduce DeakinDigital Credentials as a workforce development framework for senior leaders and emerging talent across Cisco’s Australian operations.
The global IT giant plans to use Credentials offered by DeakinDigital to enhance its professional recognition program.
