Holly Ransom is the CEO of Emergent, a strategic advisory firm specialising in disruptive strategy, digital innovation, leadership development, customer and stakeholder engagement, and building the capacity of organisations to execute change.

Holly is internationally renowned for her expertise in technological, demographic and consumer trends, along with the creation of shareholder value and workplace/community engagement and design.

She is a trusted advisor to companies, international governments and agencies on the future of work and entrepreneurship.

Holly is an experienced non-executive director across the private, government and non-profit sectors at a statutory and advisory board capacity.

In 2014, the Australian Prime Minister appointed Holly to Chair the G20 Youth Summit, resulting in the first summit to secure its policy demands from G20 leaders. Holly co-chairs the United Nations Global Coalition of Young Women Entrepreneurs. In 2016, Holly became the youngest director appointed to the board of an AFL football club (Port Adelaide). Holly is also on the board of global architecture firm Cox, the Victorian Police Commissioners’ Corporate Advisory Board and RMIT’s Business School. Her corporate career has involved working as Chief of Staff to NAB Wealth CEO Andrew Hagger and for Rio Tinto CEO Sam Walsh.

Holly holds a Law degree and Bachelor of Arts (Economics), a Diploma of Business Governance and is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. She has been named one of Australia’s 100 Most Influential Women by the Australian Financial Review, and in 2017 Sir Richard Branson named Holly as his selection for Wired’s ‘Smart List’ of emerging leaders to watch.
